13. Adler-MTB-Cup
Description
Der 13. Adler MTB Cup ist Teil des XCO-NRW-Cup.
Nach einer ansteigenden Gerade vom Start bis zum Ziel bzw. einer Einführungsrunde auf dem Kopf des Blaffertsberg geht es auf der bis zu 4 km langen Strecke über Waldwege, Pfade und Trails mit max. rund 70 Höhenmetern.
Im Trail haben die Fahrer stark verwurzelte Passagen, welche gerade bei Nässe sehr interessant werden, steile teils ruppige und ausgesetzte Abfahrten, sowie angelegte Hindernisse zu bewältigen.
In der Hobbyklasse sowie in der Lizenzklasse wird annähernd die selbe Strecke gefahren. In den Schüler- und Jugendklassen wird die Strecke angepasst in Bezug auf technische Schwierigkeit, Länge und Anstieg.
Die besonderen Merkmale sind nach dem Motto "Back to the Roots": 0 % Asphalt und nur kurze, knackige Ansteige, die in Kombination mit technischen Abfahrten und Trails den Fahrern und Fahrerinnen alles an Können abverlangen.
Kondition ist Pflicht, es gibt keine Zeit zum Erholen. All das macht den Kurs anspruchsvoll.
